I had IPL done on my face for freckles and upper lip hair as well as reducing acne, it hurt a little bit but it’s not that bad. It kind of just feels like a rubber band softly flicking your skin. Because it was on my face though I had to have my eyes covered because of the light, so it was mostly the shock of it that hurt because I wouldn’t be able to anticipate it when the machine was on my skin or near it because I couldn’t see it (if that makes sense).
Make sure you aren’t sunburnt at all in that area because it can go stripey and hurts a lot, it permenantly damages your skin if you’re sunburnt. Also, you might need to get it done quite a few times before it stops the growth.
It helps crazy amounts with pimples and things though, because of the light and heat it kills all the bacteria so it stops pimples and blackheads. Good luck
